充氣乳房現(xiàn)身倫敦上空，讓哺乳更自由

母親節(jié)來臨之際，五個(gè)巨大的充氣乳房出現(xiàn)在倫敦上空。作為“讓哺乳更自由”（Free The Feed）營銷活動(dòng)的一部分，這五個(gè)充氣乳房的主要任務(wù)是消除公眾對(duì)媽媽們?cè)诠矆?chǎng)合哺乳、吸奶的抵觸情緒。



這五個(gè)充氣乳房大小不一，最小的高3米，最大的高6米，象征著不同身材的女性。它們被安置在倫敦的五個(gè)重要場(chǎng)所，分別是位于Old Street中心位置的Grind Shoreditch、由廢舊地鐵車廂改造成的設(shè)計(jì)工作室Village Underground、哥倫比亞路（Columbia Road）、彩虹巷Ely’sYard以及亨廷頓莊園（Huntington Estate）。



英國是歐洲母乳喂養(yǎng)率最低的國家之一。近一半（45%）的英國母親表示，正是英國人對(duì)于在公開場(chǎng)合裸露身體的普遍看法，阻礙了她們?cè)谌粘Ｉ钪袌?jiān)持母乳喂養(yǎng)。“讓哺乳更自由”這項(xiàng)活動(dòng)不僅想讓女性在任何時(shí)間、任何地點(diǎn)都能在舒適安全的環(huán)境下哺乳或吸奶，也鼓勵(lì)英國民眾支持這些堅(jiān)持母乳喂養(yǎng)的媽媽們。

智能吸奶器品牌Elvie首席執(zhí)行官Tania Boler說，“‘讓哺乳更自由’營銷活動(dòng)邀請(qǐng)所有人和那些因在公共場(chǎng)合哺乳或吸奶而感到羞愧或受限制的媽媽們站在一起。我們知道巨大的充氣乳房可能會(huì)讓人們眉頭一皺，但我們想讓所有人都知道，正是這種恥辱感壓制了女性堅(jiān)持母乳喂養(yǎng)的決心。”

Elvie launchedthe movement on Mother’s Day to break down taboos aroundbreastfeeding in public

Inthe early hours of Mother’s Day, five giant inflatable breasts cameinto view across London’s skyline as part of a statement makingcampaign to fight the stigma around breastfeeding and pumping inpublic.

Thefive boobs vary in size, with the smallest standing at 3m and thelargest at 6m tall. They are designed to represent a diverse range ofwomen and each one has been positioned at a key location around thecity, which are in in support of the social movement aroundbreastfeeding. These including Grind Shoreditch, in the heart of Old Street, Village Underground alongside their iconic tube carriages,Neutral on Columbia Road, Ely’s Yard and Huntington Estate in eastLondon.

The UK has one of the lowest rates of breastfeeding in Europe. Almosthalf (45%) of UK mothers say that everyday life situations, such asoffice meetings, prevent them from breastfeeding or pumping due tocommon perceptions of nudity in public. #Free The Feed aims to empowerwomen to feel safe and comfortable breastfeeding or pumping anytime,anywhere and encourage the British public to support them.

Theboobs were blooming on both Sunday and Monday.

Tania Boler, CEO of Elvie said, “The #Freethe Feed campaign is aninvitation to everyone to stand with all those women that have feltshamed or confined when breastfeeding or pumping. We know the giantboobs will raise a few eyebrows, but we want to make sure no oneoverlooks the way that this stigma has been used to repress women.”
