今天我在日常劃水（bushi）找素材的時(shí)候，無(wú)意間刷到了下面這條視頻

不得不感嘆許老先生的翻譯功底，充分體現(xiàn)了何為“信達(dá)雅”

那么，到底什么是信達(dá)雅呢？為什么翻譯界都要講究個(gè)信達(dá)雅呢？



又有哪些翻譯體現(xiàn)了“信、達(dá)、雅”這三個(gè)字呢？

今天就和大家好好嘮一嘮~沖沖沖~

什么是信達(dá)雅 信達(dá)雅最初是由我國(guó)清末的新興啟蒙思想家嚴(yán)復(fù)在《天演論》中提出的

“譯事三難：信、達(dá)、雅。求其信，已大難矣！顧信矣，不達(dá)，雖譯，猶不譯也，則達(dá)尚焉。”

忠實(shí)于原文謂信，文辭暢達(dá)謂達(dá)，有文采謂雅。

“信、達(dá)、雅”中，唯“雅”字難解，與“雅”直接有聯(lián)系的一個(gè)問(wèn)題是所謂“文采”。

何謂“文采”？答案也許有許多種，但肯定不是堆砌詞藻，不是硬造四六駢句，不是任意使用修飾詞，不是濫用成語(yǔ)，也不是文白相雜或其它什么古怪文體。

華麗很容易被認(rèn)為有文采，然而只有適度的華麗才是一種文采。

素樸很容易被認(rèn)為沒有文采，然而適度的素樸未嘗不是一種文采。

信者，真也，真者，不偽也；

達(dá)者，至也，至者，無(wú)過(guò)無(wú)不及也；

雅者，文學(xué)性也，文學(xué)性者，當(dāng)雅則雅當(dāng)俗則俗也。

“入則懇懇以盡忠，出則謙謙以自悔?！?

“When one is in office ,he should discharge his duty conscientiously, when leaving office , he should conduct himself with humility and exercise self-reflection.”

直譯：作為官員在職期間，他應(yīng)該自覺忠誠(chéng)地履行職責(zé),當(dāng)任期結(jié)束時(shí),他應(yīng)該鍛煉自己進(jìn)行人性上的自我反 省。

“知我罪我，其惟春秋?！?

“There are people who will appreciate what I have done but there are also people who will criticize me,ultimately,history will have the final say.”

直譯：有些人會(huì)欣賞我所做的事情，但也有一些人會(huì)批評(píng)我，最終，歷史將會(huì)有最終的發(fā)言權(quán)。

“守職而不廢 處義而不回?！?br>
“I will not waver and carry out my duties,and will remain true to my conviction.”

直譯：我將不會(huì)動(dòng)搖地履行我的職責(zé),并將忠實(shí)于我的信念。
